2018 Summer Camp at The Museum of Scott County. Registration is between 8:30 and 9:00 on the day of the Camp and camp will end at noon.  Children may register for one free summer camp.  There are twenty-five slots available for each camp.  Five alternate campers will be listed in case of cancellations.  To register for camp call Paula Blakley at 423-215-3109.
Thursday, June 14, 2018 - RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARTIFACTS ~  Ages 6-12 - Scavenger Treasure Hunt with a map, Artifact Obstacle Course, Mummy Relay, Build a Pyramid, Capture the Artifact, etc.  Bring a white t-shirt to paint.
Thursday, June 28, 2018 - SUMMER OLYMPICS ~  Ages 8-14 - Make team flags, scavenger hunt, bubble soccer, team competitions, etc.  Bring a white t-shirt to paint.
Thursday, July 12, 2018 - OUTSIDE THE BOX or SURVIVOR ~ Ages 10-14 - Digital scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk drawing contest, domino relay, marshmallow challenge, etc.  Bring a white t-shirt to paint.
Every Wednesday during the months of June and July, the Museum of Scott County hosts Preschool playdays from 9 AM to 12 Noon.  The museum is open exclusively to children up to age 6.  Young children can freely explore and play in the museum with their parents and/or high school student volunteers.  Children are welcome to play on their own, or participate in story time, are activities, tractor and horse and buggy rides, etc.
