The 2025 TCAP Kickoff at HMS was a true celebration of student creativity, school spirit, and academic motivation! In preparation for testing, our 8th-grade students took the lead in setting a positive tone for the entire school. Using their artistic talents, they created vibrant and uplifting posters filled with encouraging messages and colorful designs. These posters were displayed throughout the hallways, turning the school into a visual reminder that every student is capable, prepared, and supported. Adding to the atmosphere of encouragement, Mrs. Lay took it a step further by writing positive affirmations around the building. Her thoughtful words provided students with daily boosts of confidence and reminded them of their potential during this important time. To top it all off, Mrs. Jacey Shannon’s class brought the energy with a fun and engaging TCAP showdown! Students participated in a friendly academic competition that helped review key concepts and build excitement for the test. It was a great way to reinforce learning while also creating a supportive and spirited classroom environment. Altogether, the HMS TCAP Kickoff was a powerful example of how a strong school community can come together to encourage and inspire one another. We’re proud of our students and teachers for making this kickoff such a memorable and motivating experience!
