Substitute Cook Training
The Scott County School Director of Nutrition will be doing a Substitute Cook Training on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. This training is for returning sub cooks and new sub cooks.
This will be a four-hour training starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Central Office in Huntsville (downstairs).
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Returning sub cooks that worked during the 2025-2026 school year must attend this training, to be placed back on the 2026-2027 sub cook list for the upcoming school year.
Anyone interested in becoming a new sub cook for the 2026-2027 school year will need to fill out and return an application and complete the sub cook packet before attending the training on July 29, 2026.
