TITLE II-A (Professional Development) money is provided to school districts in order to increase student achievement by improving teacher and principal quality.
TITLE II-A funds are commonly used to improve core content knowledge of teachers, improving teaching strategies, developing teacher leaders, and recruitment of teachers. Funds are to be used for sustainable, researched based, core academic training purposes. The 2018-2019 TITLE II-A allocation for the Scott County School system is $126,946.00
