POSITION SOUGHT FOR DIRECTOR OF SCOTT COUNTY SCHOOLS

The Scott County Board of Education is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of the Scott County School System.  The tenure of such position would begin July 1, 2026, subject to negotiation and execution of a contract between the board and the applicant appointed by the board.

Minimum qualifications, as set forth in 5.802 of the policies of the Scott County Board of Education are as follows:

1. A professional educator’s license.
2. A master’s degree in education with a preference for a doctorate degree.
3. Three (3) years of successful experience in school administration.
