Scott County Schools has announced the appointment of Jaclyn Hamby as the new principal of Scott High School.

A proud Scott High alumna, Hamby has served the school community in several roles, including mathematics teacher and assistant principal. She is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community while continuing the tradition of excellence that defines Scott High School.

"I'm honored to serve as principal of Scott High School," Hamby said. "Scott High has always been home to me, and I look forward to working alongside our students, faculty, families, and community to ensure every Highlander has the opportunity to succeed."
