Winfield Elementary School proudly hosted a heartfelt Veterans Day breakfast and program on Tuesday, November 12. We were delighted to serve breakfast to our esteemed veterans, who were honored guests at this special event. Each class showcased their creativity through performances, art projects, and heartfelt letters dedicated to the veterans. We were particularly honored to welcome remarkable individuals like Arvis Blakley, aged 94, Ralph Jeffers, aged 93, and Tommy Strunk, aged 93. It was a truly memorable occasion that allowed us to express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Huntsville Middle School recently held a heartfelt Veteran’s Day parade to honor local veterans, showing respect and appreciation for those who have served our country. The event was a proud display of community spirit, with students, teachers, and families coming together to celebrate the bravery and dedication of veterans from all branches of the military. Decorated in patriotic colors, the school grounds were transformed with red, white, and blue banners, flags, and posters made by students. During the parade, the school band played stirring renditions of the national anthem and other patriotic songs, creating an inspiring atmosphere as veterans rode in their vehicles. Students lined the pathways, waving flags and holding up signs expressing their gratitude.
