Hello!
My name is Elizabeth Carroll, and I am excited to share a little about myself. This is my fifteenth year in education, with fourteen of those years spent teaching at RES. My husband, Michael, is also an educator at RES.

I’m a proud mother of three and an entrepreneur. Outside of the classroom, you’ll often find me planning vacations, cheering on my sons as they play middle school and college ball, supporting my daughter as a member of the Code Red Dance Team at BSU, or spending time with family in Indiana.

Mission Statement
As a K–5 Reading Coach, my mission is to empower teachers and students by fostering a love of literacy through evidence-based practices aligned with Tennessee ELA Standards, the Elgin Foundation’s guiding principles, and the Science of Reading. I am committed to supporting and coaching educators with compassion and collaboration, equipping them with the tools, strategies, and confidence to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Together, we will create literacy-rich classrooms where every child can build strong foundational skills, develop critical thinking, and grow into a lifelong reader and writer prepared for future success.
